Neighbourhood Furniture Store

The Neighbourhood Furniture Store is a re-use project operating throughout the Borough of Swale and surrounding areas. We offer good quality furniture and electrical appliances at affordable prices to help people create more comfortable homes for their families.

Since we first opened our doors three years ago, we have:

• Helped make life more comfortable for over 1,500 individuals and families who are on a low income
• Provided more than 5,600 items of household furniture and electrical appliances at affordable prices
• Collected more than 6,300 items of furniture and electrical appliances for re-use - that's over 310 tonnes
• Worked in partnership with at least 50 community and charitable organisations
• Offered more than 2,200 households an environmentally sound alternative for disposing of good quality furniture that's no longer needed
• Created more than 65 work placement and volunteering opportunities
